In Australia, the latest available statistics show 7,200 dogs were used for research in 1 year. Beagles and greyhounds are the most commonly used dog breeds, due to their friendly, docile nature, and ‘availability’ from the racing industry.

Animal Liberation will be proposing legislation, which will be presented to NSW and VIC parliaments in a bid to make it mandatory for medical research facilities to offer cats and dogs to rescue groups after experimentation. #Right2Release #Right2ReleaseBill
